Umed is specially designed centre for Differently Abled run by Vasai Diocese. It caters to the unique requirement of individuals belonging to all religious communities. This non profitable organisation serves to multiple disabilities like MR (Mentally Retarded), LD (Learning disability), HI (Hearing impaired), Visually Impaired (VI), Spasticity, Autism.

Journey of Umed – Umed was established on September 1st,2005 under the public trust act 1950 (Trust No-E3885). It grew from 5 to 30 members over a period of time, each of them with different capabilities, talents and interests.
